Sacked Budget Office DG, Dr. Bright Okogu[/caption]
President Muhammadu Buhari has sacked the Director General of the Budget Office, Bright Okogu, replacing him with Aliyu Yahaya Gusau.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by the Director of Press and Public Relations, Federal Ministry of Finance, Marshall Gundu, who said the appointment of Gusau takes effect from 18, August 2015 with a renewable term of four years.

Until his appointment, Gusau was Director, fiscal policy, budget monitoring and evaluation unit of the Budget Office.
Gusau hails from Zamfara State and holds a Bachelor degree in Economics from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
