Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, who tested positive for Coronavirus on March 28, has shared an unusual photo of himself in isolation.
El-Rufai is yet to recover from COVID-19 after over three weeks of contracting the dreaded virus.
The governor shared a photo of himself looking unkempt on his official Instagram page on Monday, with the caption “Today’s quarantine look. #COVID19 April 20, 2020.”
El-Rufai was the first case of COVID-19 recorded in Kaduna state.
The governor had announced that he was going into self-isolation after testing positive for the virus, adding that his deputy would continue to issue statements in his absence.
“Earlier this week, I submitted a sample for the Covid-19 test. The result came in this evening, and I regret to say that it is positive.
“According to the protocols for managing Covid-19, I am in self-isolation as required by the case management guidelines of the NCDC for someone that is not showing symptoms,” El-Rufai had said.
