Council Of State: GEJ, Centre Of Attraction As Photographers ‘Abandon’ PMB

The argument that President Muhammadu Buhari’s popularity allegedly declined drastically, due to his alleged lack of performance since assumption in office, may be put to rest following a mild drama that occurred during the council of state meeting.

At the council of state meeting which was presided by the president, photographers, upon sighting former president Goodluck Jonathan, allegedly abandoned Buhari.

It was learnt that Jonathan, who attended the meeting for the first time, gathered so much attention from attendees and members of the press.

The president, at the meeting, briefed the council on the nomination of Ibrahim Idris as acting Inspector-General of Police.

This is the second meeting of the Council of State presided over by President Buhari. The first meeting of the council, under the incumbent administration, was held on October 21, 2015.
