Covid-19:Kaduna To Set Up Quarantine Centres At 17 Entry Points

The kaduna state government has said it would set up quarantine centres at all the 17 entry points into the state.

This was disclosed by the state deputy governor, Hadiza Balarabe, during an inspection of the state NYSC permanent orientation camp to be used as quarantine center for travelers coming into Kaduna town through Kaduna-Abuja road.

According to Balarabe the project was part of measures aimed at curtailing the influx of travellers and reduce the chances of inter-state transmission of coronavirus.

She however explained that unauthorized persons coming into Kaduna during the lockdown should be prepared to get ready to be quarantined for 14 days to ascertain their COVID-19 status.

Meanwhile the state governor Nasir El-rufai is yet to recover after testing positive for the virus
