Daddy Showkey: Friends Rejected Me After I Had Accident (video)

Nigerian veteran singer, Daddy Showkey, has recounted how he was abandoned by friends he had supported after an accident he had in 2007.

The actor revealed this via an Instagram video chat with a friend on Wednesday

Daddy Showkey said he was in the hospital for 3 years,, stressing that his friends rejected him and refused to accommodate him in their home because he had become broke.

According to him, he had to let go of pride to start all over again so he could help his family.

He said he traveled to Warri where he was taught a new business by a man who paid him a monthly salary.

The singer, who got quite emotional, said it was from there he rebuilt himself.
