Delta State’s COVID-19 Infections Now 609
Delta State Government says it has registered 40 new cases as of Thursday.
According to the state government’s tweet, the total cases in the state have risen to 609.

The government also added that 20 cases were discharged on Thursday thereby bringing total recoveries to 159.

Furthermore, it tweeted that 21 deaths have been recorded so far, and that 429 cases were active.
The state’s covid-19 cases have been on the increase.
The Covid-19 Presidential Task Force(PTF) had urged southern governors to improve testing capacities so as to understand the covid-19 situation of their respective states.
