Di Maria Suffering From Depression And Insomnia – Doctor

There hav been some mental health concerns over PSG winger Angel Di Maria during the novel Coronavirus pandemic lockdown in France.

According to Le Parisien, The concern was raised by the star’s wife and club doctor who informed the club that Di Maria was suffering from Insomnia and depression.

GFFN reports that Di Maria’s wife, Jorgelina Cardoso, is worried that the forward has become a “zombie” due to irregular sleeping routine.

Jorgelina while speaking to Telefe said: “He is not feeling right.

“I am with the girls all morning to do their schoolwork over the internet.

“I leave him with them for a bit in the afternoon.

“He can no longer bear it. But the only thing we can do is stay inside, so that it ends quickly.”

The 32 year old former Madrid winger declared his frustration at the lockdown in March

“We are isolated.
“We have been inside for 14 days, twelve since the president declared this quarantine.

“We only went out once to go to the supermarket. We try to stay at home so as not to catch it. We have very young daughters. The situation is frightening. This is completely crazy.”

He last played active football in March before the French Ligue 1 was cancelled and the PSG declared league winners.
