Drama: Imo Governor Leaves Podium As Oshiomole Hands Governorship Flag To Uzodimma

There was a mild drama between Imo state governor, Rochas Okorocha and the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress; Adams Oshiomole today, during the APC Presidential rally in Owerri, Imo State.

Governor Rochas Okorocha hurriedly left the podium before oshiomole and Sen Hope Uzodinmma, the gubernatorial candidate of the party in the state, mounted the podium, thereby raising more suspicion that the conflicts arising from the APC primaries in the state has remained unresolved.

Okorocha had earlier commended President Muhammadu Buhari, saying he has shown capacity and tenacity in fighting corruption.”There is nothing you will do that will make the elite of Nigeria like you. You are a man of the people who identifies with the masses. You are one of the masses,” Okorocha had said
But shortly before the arrival of Oshoimole and Uzodinma to the podium, Okorocha said he was the founding father of APC in Imo and referred to others as pretenders, in reference to Uzodinma.
On his part, the National Chairman of the party, Adams Oshiomole, disclosed that the APC is not in alliance with any other political party, adding that the Gubernatorial candidate of the party in the state, Hope Uzodinmma will bring a new hope for the people in the state.

Highpoint of the presidential rally was the presentation of the APC flag to the Gubernatorial Flagbearer, Sen Hope Uzodimma.
