Edo Election: INEC May Cancel Result From Egor

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) may cancel result from Egor Local Government Area in the ongoing Edo governorship election.

INEC said it may have to take decisive action against results generated from Egor due to snatching of election materials in the LGA, TVC reports.

There were earlier reports that political thugs had allegedly hijacked electoral materials at the Tipper Garage polling unit in Egor.

Also, the wife of the APC leader in the LGA was said to have been attacked by suspected political thugs.

INEC had also confirmed a shooting incident in Orhionmwon local government area of Edo state, Vanguard reports.
