Edo Poll: Obaseki’s ‘Supporter’ Falls From Moving Vehicle

He was also said to be part of other youths loaded in the vehicle.

It is unclear whether he was injured or died as a result of the accident.

Reports say the incident took place in front of Ugbekun Primary School in Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area at around 4:05pm.

Obaseki is seeking re-election for the second term in office on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

His major challenger is Osagie Ize-Iyamu of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Unofficial results had shown that the governor won his polling unit in Oredo Ward 4, Unit 19 in the governorship election.

The result showed that Obaseki polled 184 votes while Ize-Iyamu got 62 votes, which may have prompted the jubilation leading to the incident.
