There were a number of mishaps on the way to Benin for many of the supporters who were hired from different quarters of Edo state at N5000 per person.

One of the vehicles with hired supporters coming from Esanland was involved in a ghastly road accident with some of the passengers breaking their legs along Benin-Auchi.

Among the casualties was Mrs. Maria Ebhohimen, an APC member from Esan North-East ward 8, who broke her leg in the road accident.

Speaking at the rally, Oshiomhole took the occasion to haul insults at the person of Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, the PDP candidate.
