The new Chancellor stated that he would be presiding over the forthcoming 25th and 26th Convocation Ceremonies of the university.

He said it would provide him a good opportunity to associate with members of the university community.

The Pro-Chancellor of the university, Professor Ahmed Modibbo Mohammed, expressed his joy and that of the university community at large over the emir’s new appointment.

“The University is confident that you will do more considering your stature, exposure, and commitment to educational advancement, societal development, and experience in similar positions,” he said.

The emir received his appointment as Chancellor of the institution back in July 2021 when President Buhari appointed new Chancellors for 42 federal institutions in the country.
