As the EndSARS protesters continue the barricade of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Road in Abuja, travelers have resorted to trekking or riding commercial motorcycles to be able to catch their flights.

THE WHISTLER observed that travellers and commuters resorted to trekking or taking commercial motorcycle popularly called “Okada” to get to their destinations.

The travelers were seen dragging their luggage along the rough, untarred part of the road around the airport flyover bridge leading to the airport.

A top security operative on the protest ground, who pleaded to speak off the record, however, said the grievances of the youths are valid but there is a need for precision in the demands of young Nigerians.

He enjoined protesters to enumerate their demands like they did with the EndSARS campaign that yielded result almost immediately and also give the federal government the opportunities to meet their demands.

He said, “The act of elongating their demands is becoming a child’s play. They should list their demands and give the government opportunities to fulfil them as they did with End SARS”.
