Falz Writes NIS Over 5 Female Officers ‘Punished’ For Featuring In His ‘Bop Daddy’ Challenge
Nigerian rapper Folarin Falana, aka Falz, has written an open letter to the Comptroller-General of Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) over 5 female officers that were reportedly punished with redeployment after a video of them participating in the ‘BobDaddy Challenge’ went viral.
The female officers who featured In Falz’s ‘Don’t Rush’ challenge were on Wednesday reported to have been punished with redeployment to Yobe, Borno, Kano, Akwa Ibom and other states in the North East where the fight against insurgency is ongoing for participating in the video challenge on the social media.

The NIS had said the officers sabotaged the values upheld by the service and further asked the women to explain why they should not be subjected to punishment for allegedly violating the agency’s internal code.
Falz, had started a video challenge on the social media tagged, BopDaddy.
He had asked his fans to record themselves switching their clothes.
Many people had shown themselves transforming from casual wear to more beautiful dresses.

The NIS officers namely: Priscilla Irabor, Catherine Bakura, Blessing Udida, Binti Attabor, and Ockiya Eneni, had also recorded themselves changing from their uniforms to clothes which they thought brought out their beauty.
However, the NIS authorities, which appeared to have also seen the video, did not find it funny and issued them a query for “indecently flaunting their bodies” and desecrating the “service uniform.”

The women, who were formerly working in Lagos and Abuja, would also bear the cost of their transportation to their new postings.
They were given seven days to comply with the new directive.
Reacting to the punishment issued by the Controller General of the NIS to the officers, Falz,who is also a lawyer, in an open letter on Twitter said the female officers were entitled to transportation fare and eligible for hotel accommodation for the first 28 days or an allowance.
