A former minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has described the Comptroller General of Nigerian Customs Services, NCS, Gen Hameed Ali (rtd) as a “stubborn, arrogant monkey” for refusing to appear before the senate in uniform.

Recall that Ali, last week Thursday, refused to appear in uniform before the red chambers to defend the controversial policy on payment of duties for old vehicle.

The lawmakers, however, walked him out of the chambers and ordered him to re-appear on Wednesday, 22nd March 2017.

According to Fani Kayode, the Customs boss was taking Nigerians for granted.

In a series of tweets on Sunday, he said the Senate should insist that Ali appears before them “stark naked” and that if he refuses they should “arrest him and have him brought in chains.”

The tweet reads, “The Senate should insist that he appears before them STARK NAKED. If he refuses, they should arrest him and have him brought in chains.

“The arrogant, stubborn and ugly little monkey called Ali that refuses to wear his uniform before the Senate is insulting the Nigerian people.”
