The ‘common sense’ Senator, Ben Murray Bruce has said that livelihood in Nigeria under the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari is as good as living in ‘hell’.
Murray Bruce said this on Twitter while reacting to the alleged role of security agencies in watering down the turnout of protesters in the just concluded ‘One Voice Nigeria’ nationwide march.
Recall that there were earlier reports which alleged that revered Nigerian singer, Innocent “Tuface” Idibia, was picked up by operatives of the Department of State Security Service (DSS) for rallying the support of his fans and colleagues for the protest. Mr Idibia however refuted the reports.
While urging Nigerians not to be scared of the government, Senator Murray Bruce noted that if the people “wake up to the power they have, it’s the government that will be afraid of them.
“With the way we in government treat Nigerians, I sometimes suspect that our people will prefer to go to hell if our leaders are found in heaven!, Murray Bruce said.
