India, China Soldiers Killed During Violent Clash

A violent clash between Chinese and Indian soldiers have taken the lives of some of its officers, at Galwan valley.

India’s Defense Minister, who disclosed this on Tuesday, added that the Prime minister, Narendra Modi, had been informed about the development.

A statement from the Indian Army added: “De-escalation process underway in the Galwan valley where both sides suffered casualties, senior military officials of the two sides are currently meeting at the venue to defuse the situation.”

The country’s radio station reports that “one of its officers and two soldiers were killed in #Ladakh’s #GalwanValley yesterday night during a violent face off with Chinese.”

Meanwhile, Hu Xijin, Editor in Chief of Global Times, China, tweeted on Tuesday, that India should not test the resolve of the Chinese.

“Based on what I know, Chinese side also suffered casualties in the Galwan Valley physical clash.

“I want to tell the Indian side, don’t be arrogant and misread China’s restraint as being weak. China doesn’t want to have a clash with India, but we don’t fear it,” he stated.
