Nigerian recording artist and performer Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk, popularly known as Iyanya, surprised music lovers in the country as he joined Don Jazzy’s Mavin Record.
The announcement which coincided with the singer’s 30th birthday, came with the release of a new song “Up 2 Sumting” featuring Don Jazzy and Dr. Sid.
“I am at a decision-making curve in my music career where I have to make the right professional and creative decisions,” Inyanya said. “At this point, I realised the need to put in solid structures in place to move to the next level of my career. I think I have found that professional and creative backbone in Mavin Records.”
The Mavin Boss early on Monday further confirmed the addition of Iyanya to his star studded crew, via his twitter handle.
“The Supreme Mavin Dynasty is pleased to welcome Iyanya to the Mavin family. Please join us to welcome him and let the world know that we are up to something”, Don Jazzy wrote.
