JUST IN: 36 Governors Ask Buhari To Cede Federal Roads

Governors of 36 States in Nigeria have asked the Federal Government to cede some federal roads to state governments.

Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi state said the governors made the demands at Thursday’s National Economic Council (NEC) meeting that held at the presidential villa in Abuja.

At the meeting presided over by Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, the governors decried the deplorable state of federal roads due to lack of maintenance.
