It stated that the latest health advisory was from the U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)

“Big news from the CDC: If you’re fully vaccinated, you do not need to wear a mask – indoors or outdoors, in most settings.

“We’ve gotten this far. Whether you choose to get vaccinated or wear a mask, please protect yourself until we get to the finish line,” it stated.

Recall that the World Health Organization had advised that people should still comply with respective health protocols despite being vaccinated.

The US is one of the countries that are most hit by the covid-19 pandemic, with deaths crossing over 500,000.

In the US, one is considered fully vaccinated if the following happens:

“2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or
2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine.”

At the moment, the government has administered over 200 million covid-19 vaccines to its residents.
