JUST IN: JAMB Extends UTME Registration, Announces New Date For Exams

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has extended the registration deadline for the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

The registration was meant to end on Saturday (May 15), but the board said candidates now have two more weeks to register.

THE WHISTLER reported that JAMB had fixed the UTME examination for June 5 to June 19, 2021, but has now rescheduled it for June 19 to July 3, as reported by Channels Television.

Recall that the board had on Friday said that it would investigate the problem associated with registrations for the 2021 UTME.

JAMB’s Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, observed that many candidates were yet to register for the examinations due to issues related to the National Identification Number requirement, among others.
