JUST IN: Policeman Kills Keke Napep Rider For Refusing To Give N100 Bribe

Pandemonium broke out Thursday morning around the Rukpokwo axis of Obio-Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State following alleged killing of a tricycle operator.

Sources have informed THE WHISTLER that a member of the police team operating around the bus stop shot the Keke operator after he refused to give them N100 bribe.

The officer, whose name is yet unknown, shot the Keke operator popularly known as “School Boy” as he drove away.

The policemen subsequently took to their heels upon learning that the Keke operator has died.

Residents and colleagues of the deceased in the area subsequently blocked major roads in the area even as security operatives arrived shooting in an attempt to disperse the protesters and restore calm.

The protesters are presently parading the corpse of the deceased all around the city of Port Harcourt calling for justice.
