Lagos 2019: See Moment Sanwo-Olu, Agbaje Met At Wedding Party

The two major contestants in the 2019 governorship election in Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Jimi Agbaje, were captured by cameras exchanging pleasantries at an event that held at the weekend in the State.

Sanwo-Olu, who is the governorship candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), and Mr Agbaje, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), were among guests that attended the wedding party of the Shodipo and Dosekun families in the state over the weekend.

Some other attendees could be seen gazing at the governorship candidates in admiration as they shared some jokes.

It was the second time within the space of one week that the duo would reunite and exchange pleasantries. They had met at a reception that was held in honour of the Prince of Wales, Prince Charles, who visited Nigeria last week.

Sanwo-Olu and Agbaje are expected to begin their governorship campaigns at a date that would soon be announced this month by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

While Sanwo-Olu has the backing of the national leader of the APC, Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu, in the governorship race, Mr Agbaje may have to rely on his popularity to win the race.
