Malami Bags ‘Oduduwa Award’ For Patriotic Service

The Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami SAN, on Tuesday, received two awards from different groups for quality leadership

One was from the Karnati Global Resource while the other came from the Oduduwa Development Initiatives.

Malami’s spokesperson, Dr. Umar Jibrilu Gwandu, announced the awards in a statement on Tuesday.

According to the statement, the Oduduwa Development Initiatives led by Mr. Akinyele Olasumbo, decorated Malami as “OMOLUABI” of ODUDUWA YOUTH WORLDWIDE during a function.

Olasumbo was quoted as saying that Malami is a “patriotic and self-less Nigerian who ensures constitutional democracy and that justice is served without fair or favour.”

Malami who was represented by the Special Assistant to the President on Financial Crime and Compliance, Office of the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Barr. Abiodum Aikomo, thanked the group for the show of love.

On the other hand, Karnati Global Resource conferred on Malami the “Golden Symbol of Nigerian Youths” award for his remarkable leadership features.

The organization’s leader, Abubakar M.K, applauded Malami for playing a role in justice sector reforms.

“The entire Nigerian Youth are also not unaware of your immense, notable and laudable contribution to economic growth, political stability and support for the survival of democracy in Nigeria. Nigerians at large will surely continue to be proud of you,” he said, according to Gwandu.
