Abia Homeland Security Dismisses Deputy Director Of Logistics
The Abia State Homeland Security Agency has said it has dismissed Ireokwu Tochi, formerly serving as Deputy Director of Logistics of the agency with immediate effect.
The Agency in a statement on Tuesday said the decision follows the findings and recommendations of a duly constituted six-man Disciplinary Investigation Panel, which thoroughly investigated allegations of serious misconduct and violations of the Agency's Code of Conduct.

Lagos Seals Church, 12 Others For Noise, Air Pollution
The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA), in collaboration with the Lagos Environmental Sanitation Corps, has sealed 13 establishments across the state for violating environmental regulations.

A judge of the Federal High Court in Abuja has revoked the bail granted to human rights activist and African Action Congress presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, and issued a bench warrant for his arrest.

The Enugu State Government has identified the establishment of Enugu Air and the concession of the Akanu Ibiam International Airport as critical drivers of its ambition to grow the state’s economy from $4.4bn to $30bn by 2031.

Insecurity: Residents Groan As Enugu LGA Restricts Okada Operations
The authorities of Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State have restricted the operations of commercial motorcycles popularly called okada, and those of tricycles, known as Keke, following increasing insecurity in the area.

Gunmen Attack NIPSS Headquarters, Security Operatives Feared Dead
Suspected gunmen on Monday night attacked the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) in Kuru, near Jos, Plateau State.
