Nigeria Has Done 5000 Tests For COVID-19

The Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire, has disclosed that the country has done 5000 tests for coronavirus.

Ehanire said this while speaking on Monday at a briefing of the Presidential Task Force on control of COVID-19.

According to him, “We have tested over 5000 samples so far and are working hard to step up capacity in the targeted approach.”

He added that people who showed no symptoms of the virus would not be tested.

Meanwhile South Africa had tested 44, 202 samples.
