Nigerians React As Buhari ‘Supporters’ In U.S Say ‘He Has Done Well’

Nigerians have reacted angrily to demonstrations by some supporters of President Muhammadu Buhari, who welcomed the President to Washington DC on Sunday.

Buhari arrived the U.S capital on Sunday, ahead of a scheduled meeting with President Donald Trump at the White House.

Some of his supporters who were on ground to welcome him had banners proclaiming their support and eulogizing the president.

An inscription on one of the fliers read: “President Buhari is getting the job done, support him”.

But the gesture didn’t go down well with Nigerians back home, with some calling on the President’s supporters in the U.S to come back to Nigeria to experience the harsh environment.
