The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has fixed Thursday, July 9, 2026, for the passing-out of 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream I corps members nationwide.
It announced the date in a statement posted on its official X handle on Wednesday.
According to the NYSC Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, activities ahead of the exercise began on June 23.
The scheme said the low-key exercise would end with the presentation of Certificates of National Service to eligible corps members across all local government areas in the country.
The statement read, “The Management of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has approved Thursday, 9th July, 2026, as the passing-out date for the 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream One Corps Members.

“The series of activities heralding the event will commence on Tuesday, 23rd June, 2026, and will include Job Advisory and Counselling (JAC), by the NYSC and other relevant agencies, registration and clearing of Corps Members by Local Government Inspectors (LGIs), as well as the signing of final clearance by the Zonal Inspectors.”
The management said only corps members who completed the requirements of the national service programme would receive their certificates.
“The low-key event will feature the distribution of Certificates of National Service to only the deserving Corps Members in all the Local Government Areas of the country,” it added.
The Director-General of the scheme, Brig.-Gen. Olakunle Nafiu congratulated the outgoing corps members and urged them to uphold the values of the NYSC after their service year.
He also advised them to remain good ambassadors of the scheme in their post-service activities.
