Oluwole Sworn In As Kwara New Head Of Service

Mrs. Susan Dupe Oluwole has been sworn-in as the 20th Head of Service of Kwara State.

Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed swore in Oluwole following the exit of the immediate past Head of Service of the state, Hajia Zahra Omar.

The governor tasked the new Head of Service on innovative ideas that would drive positive change in the state’s civil service.

Ahmed charged Oluwole to “ensure efficiency and enhance government’s capacity to meet the aspirations of the people, especially in the area of internally generated revenue and optimal resource utilisation.

“We live in an increasingly dynamic, technology-driven world on one hand, while we are faced with dwindling government resources on the other.

“The Civil Service is the engine room of government and necessary ingredient of good governance while a weak bureaucracy challenges efficiency in government”, said Ahmed.
