Omokri Dares Tinubu, Says Awaiting Response To Money Laundering Allegation

Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has dared the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, to respond to his money laundering petition on Change.org.

Omokri was reacting to THE WHISTLER’s earlier report, in which Tinubu’s media adviser, Tunde Rahman, promised to respond to the former presidential aide’s allegation.

He tweeted on Friday quoting THE WHISTLER‘s report: “I am waiting for you. We are all also waiting to see if the @OfficialEFCC will do the right thing by investigating you for money laundering. We cant be intimidated. We are stakeholders in this country.”

In the petition that had since garnered over 11,400 signatures, Omokri called on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to, “investigate Bola Tinubu for contravening the Money Laundering (Prohibition) Act of 2011, by having bullion vans ferry alleged large sums of money into his house on the eve of the 2019 Presidential election.”

Tinubu has yet to officially respond to Omokri’s allegation and other petitions recently filed against him with the EFCC.
