Ondo: Deputy Gov Dumps PDP, Set To Contest Against Akeredolu on ZLP Platform
Ondo State Deputy Governor,Mr Agboola Ajayi, has officially resigned his membership of the Peoples Democratic Party.
This came just as Ajayi has been cleared to contest the October 10 governorship election on the platform of the Zenith Labour Party.

Ajayi’s Media Adviser, Allen Sowore in a statement said the deputy governor resigned from the PDP following the pressure on him by the people of the state to.contest the poll.
He said Ajayi submitted his letter of resignation from the PDP to his ward on Sunday.
Ajayi had defected to the PDP on June 21 and picked the nomination form to contest the party’s primary election . He however lost the primary election to Eyitayo Jegede and there have been speculations that he would dump the PDP since then.
His resignation from the PDP was also confirmed by the chairman of the PDP in Apoi Ward ii of Ese-Odo Local Government Area, Festus Oboro.
