Oshiomhole: APC To Comply With Court’s Suspension Of National Chairman

The ruling All Progressives Congress  (APC) has pledged to comply with the suspension of its national chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, by a Federal Capital Territory high court.

The FCT high court, on Wednesday, suspended Oshiomhole following an application filed by some APC stalwarts seeking the party chairman’s removal.

Justice Danlami Senchi, who delivered the ruling, asked Oshiomhole to step down as APC chairman pending the outcome of the suit.

Reacting, the acting national secretary of the APC, Victor Giadom, said: “The most important thing is that the party is going to respect the court order. The national working committee will meet soon on the matter.”

Giadom, who spoke to journalists at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja, said the APC National Working Committee (NWC) would meet to deliberate on the development.
