The Oyo State government has recorded a total of 233 Coronavirus cases.
The rise in number followed the confirmation of 30 new cases in the state.
According to the state governor, Seyi Makinde, twenty-seven cases are from iSON Xperiences and one each from Ibadan south west , Ibadan south east and Oluyole Local Govt Areas.
On the positive side, he announced the recovery of 9 patients who have now been discharged to join the society after testing negative twice for the dreaded virus.
This brings the number of discharged cases in Oyo State to fifty-eight.
The COVID-19 confirmation tests for thirty suspected cases came back positive, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the state, as at 5.30 pm on Saturday, to 233.
