The former governorship candidate spoke in Ibadan on Thursday at an event to celebrate his 50th birthday .

According to him, Makinde appears to be unprepared for governance hence his alleged poor performance since he came to office.

He said, “This government has not done anything significant in the one and a half year.

“Everything this administration promised the people of the state is still on their wish list 16 months after coming on board. With the calibre of people that have returned to APC, no party can stand in the way of our party.

“It is going to two years now, can you point at one or two major projects that this government has completed? Everything is still on their wish list and if wishes were horses, beggars would ride.”

Adelabu said Makinde would have come third in the 2019 governorship poll if all candidates had contested on their own without forming a coalition.

Reacting to the crisis rocking the APC in the state, Adelabu said the crisis has been successfully resolved and the party had become “one big united family.”

Based on this, he said the APC remained the party to.beat in the state, saying all the prominent political leaders that made Makinde to win had left him because they he has not done well.

He said, “As it is today there is no more crisis in Oyo APC. I was in Abuja for the reconciliatory meeting, I was at the former Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala’s residence in Ibadan for another meeting and I was at Governor Kayode Fayemi’s meeting last Sunday.
