PDP NEC In Emergency Meeting Over Possible Postponement Of National Convention

Members of the National Executive Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are currently meeting in the Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
It was learnt that the main agenda of the meeting which is holding at the Government House is to consider the postponement of the party’s convention for another 90 days.
Chairman of the National Convention Planning Committee and Governor of Rivers State, Nysome Wike, is said to be presiding over the meeting.

The NEC comprises members of the Board of Trustees, members of the National Caretaker Committee, National Assembly Members and Governors.
It also consists of some national and former national officers of the party.
