Police Arrest Diamond Platnumz Over Explicit Video

Naseeb Abdul Juma, popularly known by his stage name Diamond Platnumz, has been arrested by the Tanzanian police over a series of explicit videos posted on his official Instagram account.

The arrest was confirmed on Tuesday by the country’s Minister of Information Arts Culture and Sports, Dr Harrison Mwakyembe.

Mwakyembe, said police intends to arraign Diamond in court soon.

In a video shared on his official Instagram account, Diamond was seen cuddling with an unidentified female and his baby mama Hamisa Mobetto in the presence of his fellow Wasafi crooner Harmonize.

Recall that this is not the first time the Tanzanian crooner is clashing with the Tanzanian authorities over breach of the Tanzanian law.

Earlier in the year, Diamond was accused of being rude and disrespectful to the Tanzanian arts department BASATA on social media.

This was after they banned two of his songs Waka Waka where he featured American rapper Rick Ross, Halleluyah and Morgan Heritage over contravening the Tanzanian moral code set for artistes.
