Police Kill Another Man In Port Harcourt

Less than 24 hours after a policeman killed a Keke Napep rider, another young man’s life has been cut short by police stray bullet around the same spot in Port Harcourt on Friday.

Mr. Nkpara Noble, was killed while on his way to Rumuokoro Market, where he operates a small business.

THE WHISTLER gathered that the unrest along the Rumuokoro/Rumuodumaya axis of Port Harcourt which started since yesterday following the killing of a Keke Napep rider by a trigger happy Police officer over N100 bribe continued today.

The colleagues of the dead man continued their protest today and the police, in a bid to disperse the riot, started shooting recklessly.

Mr. Noble was hit by a stray bullet in the process.

Noble hails from Luusue Sogho in Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State. He was said to be an orphan.
