Protect Us Before It’s Too Late, Fani-Kayode Tells FG After Dino’s Abduction

Following the alleged abduction of the senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Dino Melaye, former Aviation Minister Femi Fani-Kayode called on the federal government to protect Nigerians.

It was reported that Melaye was attacked by unknown gunmen in the Gwagwalada area of Abuja Thursday morning.

The incident was confirmed by Bayelsa East Senator, Ben Bruce.

Fani-Kayode, in a series of tweet condemned the abduction, urging Melaye’s abductors to release him.

“I wholeheartedly condemn the abduction of @dino_melaye. I implore those that have kidnapped him to return him home safely to his family and loved ones. I urge the Federal Government to do its job and protect the Nigerian people before it is too late,” Fani-Kayode tweeted.
