Protesters Humiliate Gov Udom, Call Him ‘Yahoo Boy’ [VIDEO]

A viral social media video has captured the moment EndSARS protesters humiliated Akwa Ibom State Governor, Emmanuel Udom, by calling him a ‘Yahoo boy’ during a protest in Uyo on Tuesday.

The protesters who have been agitating against police brutality and high-handed operations of the disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), were seen running after Governor Udom’s convoy and chanting ‘Yahoo boy! Yahoo boy!!’

According to reports, the governor had offered them N4 million to stop their demonstrations in the state.

The protesters had joined their counterparts in other states by marching through the state’s capital, demanding that they should be addressed by Governor Udom over alleged police brutality in the state.

The governor had reportedly yielded to their request by addressing the protesters on Tuesday.

Trending videos on social media indicated that Udom’s meeting with the protesters did not end well, as they were seen calling him a ‘Yahoo boy’ for allegedly offering them money to stop the protests instead of addressing their concerns.
