The Chairman, Senate Committee on Media and Public Affairs, Senator Aliyu Abdullahi while also reacting to his colleague’s outburst said it was nothing new.

According to him, the same information had been in various line items and expenditure heads of the budget of the National Assembly, which has been made public.

“Almost all holders of elective and appointive offices have running costs allocated to their offices and that cannot be said to be part of their salaries” Abdullahi said.

The Senate spokesman denied allegations of moves to place Senator Sani under suspension for “blowing the whistle” on the Red Chamber.
