Alleged False Declaration Of Asset: CCT Says It Has Jurisdiction To Try Saraki

The Code of Conduct Tribunal, on Thursday, ruled that it has the jurisdiction to hear the case against Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki.

Saraki is facing a 13 count charge which borders on false declaration of assets, while he was governor of Kwara state.

The charges were preferred against him by the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB).

Recall that in the last sitting, Saraki raised objections about the jurisdiction of the Code of Conduct Tribunal to try him.
