A Federal High Court sitting in Owerri has affirmed Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu as the duly elected Governor of Abia State.
Justice A.I Allagoa who ruled on the suit filed by Mr. Friday Nwosu against Governor Okezie Ikpeazu on alleged forgery of tax documents, struck the case, ruling that the tax documents were not forged.

According to the court, Nwosu was not able to prove that the tax documents were in anyway forged.
