The Super Eagles B-team will face the Black Stars of Ghana in the final of this year’s West Africa Football Union (WAFU) cup, on Sunday.
Salisu Yusuf’s boys defeated Benin Republic 1-0 in the semi-final on Thursday night, thanks to Rabiu Ali’s 11th minute goal.
Ghana cruised to the final after a 2-0 victory over Niger Republic, in the second semi-final game yesterday.
Kwame Kizito and Stephen Sarfo scored in either half, to secure the win for Black Stars.
The Eagles had earlier defeated host country 2-0 in their final Group A game on Monday.
Benin Republic and Niger Republic will square off in the third-place match on Saturday.
Nigeria has been rock solid at the back, as they are yet to concede a goal after five matches played so-far in the tournament.
