Super Eagles Will Play Dirty Football Against Egypt – Oliseh

Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh has said the team will not play beautiful football against Egypt in their forthcoming two-legged 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixture.

While fielding questions from the audience on Brila FM on Friday, Oliseh said the Eagles would be strictly result-oriented in both games.

He said he has been scouting Nigerian players in Europe in preparation for the games, adding that he needs funds to visit all the players he intends to invite.

“Scouting Nigerian players in Europe has been relatively tight because I’ve not been able to visit as many as I would love to because I’m struggling financially. Hopefully that will be sorted out soon so that I can talk to most of them face to face.

“I already know the players I want to invite. All I’m looking at now is their current form and their mental state. That is why I need to speak with them for at least 20 minutes face to face before they get invited.

“We plan to get results. Our plan is to play a result-oriented game. We will not guarantee that these games will be beautiful but we are going to win. I’m optimistic that we will carry the day.”

Oliseh said camping for the games will begin two weeks to the first leg with home-based professionals, some of whom would be part of the final squad.
