The Seme Command of Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) on Wednesday said it had intercepted 55 fairly-used vehicles smuggled into the country since the border closure on August 20 this year. The Organisers of the Lagos International Trade Fair, the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), have decried over the recent closure of Nigeria’s border saying it will likely disrupt the event. The Federal Operations Unit, FOU, Zone A, Nigeria Customs Service, has impounded 10 luxury vehicles belonging to Emeka Okonkwo, known otherwise as E-Money, over underpayment of duty on the vehicles.
