Troops Kill Heavily Armed Terrorists In Yobe

Troops of the Nigerian Army have killed a number of terrorists who attempted to attack military a location at Gonori in Yobe State.

The armed criminals made the attempt at about 6.33 p. m. on Wednesday.

The troops tactically waited for the terrorists to close into the killing range and opened heavy volume of fire on the criminals.

Confirming the statement, the army spokesman, Col. Sagir Musa said the terrorists came for the aborted attack in seven trucks and motorcycles.

Musa said the troops seized five of the gun trucks, one Vehicle Blinde Leger, assorted quantity of ammunition and destroyed a number of motorcycles.
