Tuition Fees Hike: Student Shot During Protest In Kaduna

Security operatives have reportedly shot dead a student of the Kaduna State College of Education, Gidan Waya, during a protest on Monday.

The students were said to be protesting the hike in tuition fee by the state government.

The college is situated in Jema’a Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

The security operatives were attempting to forcefully disperse the students when the sad incident took place, Daily Trust reports.
