Twitter Ban: EU, U.S., UK Envoys Arrive Foreign Affairs Ministry [VIDEO]

Following their invitation over their criticism of Nigeria’s ban on Twitter, some diplomats have arrived at the conference room of the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

They had strongly condemned FG’s ban on Twitter, adding that “Banning systems of expression is not the answer”.

The Foreign Affairs Ministry had stated that, ” following the recent ban on Twitter by the Federal Government and Press Statement issued by some Heads of Diplomatic Missions Accredited to Nigeria on the subject matter, the Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency, Geoffrey Onyeama has invited the affected Ambassadors to a Meeting today at 12noon.”
