UK PM Marries Fiancee In ‘Small Ceremony’

The United Kingdom Government has disclosed that the British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, quietly married his fiancée Carrie Symonds on Saturday.

A Downing Street official disclosed this as quoted by AFP.

“The Prime Minister and Ms Symonds were married yesterday afternoon in a small ceremony at Westminster Cathedral.

“The couple will celebrate their wedding with family and friends next summer,” the spokesperson said on Sunday.

Unconfirmed reports had it that Johnson had sent out “save the date” wedding cards for July 30 next year.

THE WHISTLER reported that the UK Prime Minister broke a record in 2019 when he emerged as UK’s first “unmarried” prime minister.

Symonds was said to have worked for the Conservative Party. It was reported that she had given birth to their son, Wilfred, in April last year.

Also, reports have it that Johnson was previously married with four children from his now-divorced wife, Marina Wheeler.
