It later announced that it had an unscheduled visit to make.

On reaching the hospital, one of the panel members, Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa, told the army personnel that they were on a national assignment for intelligence gathering on the October 20 alleged shooting of protesters.

“We are here to inspect the medical facility. We are members of the panel of inquiry set up by the directive of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari and confirmed by the National Economic Council directing governors to set up a judicial panels of inquiry in respect of the #EndSARS protest,” he said.

Also, the video footage showed the army telling people to go outside.
